G - Garatusa

Garatusa. En la esgrima es una treta compuesta de nueve movimientos, y participacion de dos y tres ángulos, que la hacen por ambas partes, por de fuera y por de dentro, arrojando la espada con fuerza à los lados, y de allí vuelven à subirla para herir de estocada en el rostro ò pecho. No es segúra. Narb. Rudimentos Radicales, f.40. Lat. Ludi gladiatorij actio, qua quis adversarium varijs ambagibus ferit.

Garatusa. In fencing it is a technique composed of nine movements, and the participation of two and three angles, that they make to [through, from] both parts [locations, sides], from the outside and from the inside, arrojando the sword with force to the sides, and from there they return to raise it [the sword] to wound with a thrust in the face or chest.
